Lucas Harper

Founder & Managing Principal

Lucas Harper is the Founder and Managing Principal of Santa Monica Capital Group and brings more than 25 years of experience across institutional investing, capital formation, company building, strategic transactions, and public markets.

He began his career in institutional investment management, where he focused on raising and deploying capital across alternative investment strategies and developed relationships with sophisticated institutional investors. He later applied that experience as a founder, operator, executive, board member, and capital advisor across a range of growth companies and investment platforms.

Most recently, Lucas served as Chief Investment Officer of Innventure, where he was a member of the leadership team involved in taking the company public and was responsible for investment strategy, capital formation, valuation, portfolio company development, and strategic transactions. He has also co-founded HR Visa and previously developed a real estate investment platform that attracted approximately $50 million of institutional private equity capital.

Through Santa Monica Capital Group, Lucas advises founders, executives, boards, owners, and capital partners on growth, capital strategy, business performance, and strategic transactions.
